Viking
Justin “The Viking” Wren was the youngest fighter on Season 10 of The Ultimate Fighter. Justin has been fighting professionally since age 19. He won 2 National Championships, 10 Texas State Championships, and was a 5x All American high school wrestler in Dallas, Texas.
After filming The Ultimate Fighter, Justin found himself in a very dark place. Depressed and steeped in self-destructive living, Justin came to experience the transforming power of God’s grace in his life. He took a year off from fighting in order to refocus his life, including traveling around central Africa and reaching out to marginalized people groups with the message of what God had done in his life. Thus, this portrait is an attempt to portray an otherwise big scary heavyweight fighter in a way that lets the inner joy and peace that he has come to experience shine through to the viewer.
