Bible for the Rest of Us
For most people, the Bible is utterly confusing. Even those who’ve been Christians for years (or all their life!) have trouble when it comes to making sense of the Bible as a whole. Why is this? If God has indeed given us this Holy Inspired text, then why is it so hard to understand? Why are there so many different translations, editions and interpretations?
These are some of the questions that “Bible for the Rest of Us” was developed to answer. I’ve taught the course to hundreds of adults over the past few years and each time I’ve had people thank me for helping them to see that Scripture really IS understandable, coherent, applicable and eventually life-changing. So whether you’ve studied the Bible for decades or have never even cracked one open, this course will take you deeper in your understanding and appreciation of God’s word.
Online Format
This entirely online version consists of each individual session from all three DVDs. Rather than purchasing the entire set, you can pay to watch the sessions individually and at your own budget-pace (though ordering the DVD version turns out to be a little cheaper in the long run).
The introductory session if free of charge and includes a link to a free download of the Participant’s Workbook in PDF format. After that, each session you choose to watch is only $4! Once you pay for a session, you can watch it as often as you like. There are also embedding code links so that you can share any of the videos you enjoyed with your friends, family, small group or ministry leaders (hint hint!).
