I did that several years ago, and the result was the book “The Way of the Christian Samurai.” I ended up not only drawing from the Hagakure, but also The Book of Five Rings and the life of Master Tesshu.
There’s a lot of depth in the parallel.

Yes, I have your book and enjoyed it very much, Paul. I recommend it to others as well since it is, to my knowledge, the only book on being a Christian Samurai currently in print! I hope to add to the discussion and help us bring others around to seeing the life of the Disciple as the life of the Samurai of the One True Daimyo!
