Genesis 24b – The Servant and the Bride (vid)
Hello everyone,
For those of you who couldn’t join us today at our weekly Ruth’s Chris Bible study, here is the video. We looked at the 2nd half of the longest chapter in Genesis and the role of Abrahahm’s servant in arranging a wife for Isaac.
This Biblical “love story” doesn’t match what we see in the movies or on TV here in America, but its purpose is not to tell such a story. Rather, like all of Genesis, it is to record the unfolding of God’s continuing plan to rescue and bless the world through Abraham’s “seed.”
