John Danaher is widely considered to be the most cerebral and knowledgeable grappling instructors in the world. Head instructor at the world-famous Renzo Gracie Academy in NY, John has taught some of the greatest fighters in MMA, including Georges St. Pierre and Frankie Edgar. His Monday lunchtime class (which I’ve had the pleasure of taking, and which you can read about at https://jmsmith.org/blog/rga) is legendary and regularly draws some of the top grapplers and fighters from around the world to come sit under Danaher’s instruction.
